A time to immerse yourself in nature, silence and restorative yoga.

Deep Healing Yoga retreat is run twice per year. Your host Katie has a body-centred approach to wellbeing which is brought into every aspect of the experience. Her fun and generative spirit creates optimal healing in the ideal location.

If you want to move from ‘tired and wired’ to grounded and uplifted, then the body is the best place to start.

Healing-informed yoga, delicious vegetarian meals and time for silence and nature make this a unique experience.

Located in Cottles Bridge near Hurstbridge in Victoria, we have the entire Home and Studio to roam, find your own little nook and settle in, sit in the garden or go for walks through nature.

 
 

Catering

Plant based vegetarian food that is seasonal and will keep us warm and nourished. The food is mostly gluten and lactose free. Other needs can be catered for.

Expect things like salads, quiche, phô noodle soup, a warm breakfast congee, muesli and fresh fruit, snacks and desserts.

Room Types

You can choose

~ a twin share room (two single beds)

~ a room with a queen bed

Room maximum capacity is 2.



A cosy yet more luxurious way to sleep in the open, under the stars.

Bell Tents

Each bell tent fits two queen mattresses.

We recommend either two singles or a queen and the rest of the space is to play in, read, stretch, arrange your belongings neatly :-)

Shared Rooms

You receive a discount when booking a shared room.

So invite a friend!

Or if you want a shared room with a retreatant (someone you don’t know previously), the organiser will arrange for a twin-single shared rooms based on same sex, and you still get the discount.

Gender fluid retreatants can talk to the organiser about their preferences and will be well accommodated.

 

The Yoga

Katie de Araujo is a body-centered therapist with expertise in gaining the trust of your body and watching the mind follow.

In this weekend retreat:

~ you will learn ways to structure a safe feeling into your days

~ you'll be able to turn off the vigilance, and

~ spend many more hours a day in the playful, open way we wish for

~ Your energies will be freed up for creative self-care, not needless armouring or numbing-out.

Training and qualifications

Katie’s training is extensive across many styles of yoga and she delights in offering each person the style that fits.

Payments

Full payment of Early Bird is required by 19th September for Early Bird pricing to apply.

All payments must be made by 1st November when registrations close.

Registrations close on 1st November, 2023

No bookings can be accepted after this time and all payments are to be finalised.

Cancellation Policy

By registering you are agreeing to the cancellation policy as stated below.

Cancellation of registration, prior to 1st October will receive a full refund minus $50 admin fee.

The deposit is non refundable after 1st October.

For cancellations after 1st October we can only refund the balance of your payment if your spot is filled.

Covid -Safe Policy

In the case of any flu or cold-like symptoms attendees are expected to take necessary precautions to reduce spread.

Getting to the venue

Carpooling - you will receive an email one week before the retreat with information including an option to offer / request car pooling to the venue.

Arrival Time

Arrive anytime between 3 - 5pm to settle into your room and take a walk around the grounds and find your favourite spots to sit in.

What not to bring

Alcohol & recreational drugs are not to be consumed or brought to the retreat venue. 

Phones and iPad use will be discouraged. Phone use is not permitted in public spaces except to take photos of your walks and nature.

Bonus Yoga Therapy Session

Choose from 40 available times between November 29 to January 17, 2024. One complementary session per retreatant.
